Recipes with apple cider vinegar
Apple cider vinegar has a much better effect when combined with infusions and decoctions made from medicinal herbs. If you have greasy hair, you can use the infusions made from rosemary, sage and thyme. For dry hair, you can use rosemary and chamomile. A thistle infusion works well for dull hair. To make an infusion, take a pinch of the recommended herb and infuse it for 15 min in a half a cup of boiled water. After the allotted time, add 20ml of apple cider vinegar. The resulting mixture is used for rinsing your hair after washing.
If you keep rinsing your hair after washing with this mixture, it will become great looking manageable and silky. As an alternative, you can use just water with some apple cider vinegar: half a gallon of water and 2 tablespoons of vinegar. In the case when the hair looks unhealthy and dull, you can use a stronger solution and combine the equal parts of apple cider vinegar and water. There is no additional rinsing required after rinsing the hair with this solution.
Apple cider vinegar hair mask
If you have a little bit more time to devote to your hair care, you can try an apple cider vinegar mask. This is how you make it: mix a tablespoon of honey and a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of warm water. Carefully rub the resulting mixture into your scalp, leave it for half an hour and then wash it off with warm water. This will make the hair roots stronger and stronger.
Apple cider vinegar for dandruff
If dandruff is what troubles you, then apple cider vinegar is simply indispensable tool. To make dandruff go away, rub the scalp daily with the infusion made from the mixture of apple cider vinegar and burdock. Take 2 tablespoons of dry leaves of burdock and boil in water for 6-8 min on low heat. Let it cool down and add two teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.
A weak solution of apple cider vinegar can also be used for hair strengthening, dandruff prevention and itchy scalp. Greasy hair particularly benefits from being treated with apple cider vinegar, since it reduces the sebum production by normalizing the activity of the sebaceous glands.
